SEACLIFF SLSC

Our Proud History

Established in 1930, Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club has grown from humble beginnings into one of South Australia’s leading emergency service organisations.

Located at the southern end of the Esplanade, our modern clubrooms - rebuilt in 2011 in partnership with the City of Holdfast Bay and the South Australian Government - provide a state-of-the-art lifesaving facility and a premier beachside destination for the community.

Today, Seacliff SLSC is home to more than 700 members, including 280 juniors, who patrol, train and compete for the club. Our volunteer lifesavers patrol approximately 2 kilometres of coastline from Kingston Park to South Brighton, contributing thousands of hours each season to keep our beaches safe.

Seacliff competes across Junior, Senior and Masters divisions and has achieved success at State, National and International level, with particular strength in Rescue & Resuscitation and First Aid.
